Although most Croatian's speak English, here are some useful Croatian words and phrases to help those traveling to Medjugorje. I hope that these "basics" will help you to communicate more effectively and understand the prayers when they are praying in their own language. Hrvatski is the official language of Croatia, and is written phonetically so once you learn the way each letter is said and sounds, it will be easier to read and pronounce words.
